Here is Stanislaus District fans’ pick for The Bee’s Boys Prep of the Week

Kannon Sharpe went the distance on April 21 in the finale of a three-game series against Modesto High.

The junior shut out the Panthers and added 15 strikeouts in seven innings and an RBI in a 10-0 Eagles win.

The victory put the cap on a perfect week of games in which Enochs outscored Modesto 31-5. Sharpe went 4-for-5 with three doubles and had three RBIs in the series opener and reached on an error and scored a run in the second game.

The fans noticed his performance, voting him The Bee’s Boys Player of the Week.

Sharpe came in first after gaining 85% of the votes in the weekly poll. He finished ahead of baseball players Drew Walker of Pitman and Downey’s Camden Rush, who were second and third.
