Here is Stanislaus District fans’ pick for The Bee’s Boys Prep of the Week

Guard Gage Mastropierro has done a bit of everything for Central Valley High school’s boys basketball team this season.

He averages 15.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 3.7 steals, all team highs.

The senior led the Hawks as they captured their first Central California Conference victory Jan. 25, posting 26 points, eight rebounds, eight steals and three assists in a 70-62 win over Merced.

The fans noticed his performance, voting him The Modesto Bee’s Boys Player of the Week.

Mastropierro won the weekly poll, earning 45% of the votes. He finished ahead of Downey basketball player Lloyd French and Modesto soccer player Alexis Luna Alvarez, who came in second and third place.
