Here’s who Stanislaus District fans voted as The Bee’s Prep Football Player of the Week

Waterford High went into Friday’s matchup against Le Grand undefeated, averaging 36 points a game.

Up until that game, receiver Matthew Brinkman had 110 yards and two touchdowns. The senior put together a five-catch. 136 yard and two touchdown breakout game to help lead his team to its fifth straight win this season.

The performance gives the 5-foot-8 receiver 246 total yards and four touchdowns.

His effort earned him the Stanislaus District High School Football Player of the Week, as voted on by our readers.

Brinkman reveiced 70% of the nearly 40,000 votes.

Orestimba wide receiver Jayden Vargas (22%) finished in second. Modesto Christian quarterback Alex Argander finished third.
