Top scholar-athletes receiving scholarships Tuesday. Find out who is going.

The CIF Sac-Joaquin Section announced Monday its 49 winners of the A. Dale Lacky/CSEA scholarships for seniors who had outstanding athletic performance, academic success, and community service.

All the winners will be recognized at the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Breakfast Awards Ceremony on Tuesday at 9 a.m. at Hutchins Street Square in Lodi.

The award is named after the former section and CIF State President.

The top female and male will be awarded the Clarke Coover Scholarship (former section commissioner) and receive $1,200.

Pitman’s Nolan Lok and Livingston’s Annie Winton won the Coover scholarships.

Lok wrestled and swam for the Pride for four years while playing two years of football and water polo. He is the ASB Vice President and has a 4.59 GPA, tops among seniors at Pitman.

Winton played golf and basketball for four years each and was second in the state in scoring with 27.1 points per game. She was the Trans-Valley League Most Valuable Player. She volunteers with the Livingston basketball and softball clinics and has a 3.98 GPA.

Isabella Patterson (Sonora) and Lolyn Tejada Lemus (Patterson) will receive $800 while Taylor Anema (Ripon Christian), Kassandra Rojas (Gregori), Taylor Stewart (Oakdale), Brady Cardozo (Beyer), Devan Gomes (Hilmar), Tyler Matyshock (Sonora), Max Moore (Oakdale), and Adam Romero (Orestimba) all receive $450.

In total, the section is giving out $26,350 in scholarships to 49 winners.
