Enochs player’s first homer came at the stadium named after his great-grandfather

Enochs junior Hunter Brown hit a two-run home run in the Eagles’ 6-3 loss to Los Banos in the Windemuth Tournament at Modesto High on Monday.

It was Brown’s first career home run and it came at Streeter Field, named after Jerry Streeter who just happens to be Hunter’s great-grandfather.

He followed that up with a grand-slam against Patterson on Wednesday.

Brown has a .284 batting average with two home runs and 17 RBIs this year.

The Eagles (11-10, 5-7) have a crucial series against Gregori (7-14-1, 5-7) next week with the winner taking the final playoff spot in the Central California Athletic League. Monday’s and Friday’s game are at Gregori with Wednesday’s at Enochs.

All games start at 3:45 p.m.
