Two Pitman High athletes sign their National Letters of Intent

Pitman seniors Madison King (William Jessup University) and Emily Vander Weide (Cal State San Marcos) signed with their respective schools in front of family and friends in the school’s library on Tuesday.

King will compete in the throwing events as a member of the Warriors while Vander Weide will play volleyball for the Cougars.

Vander Weide led the Pride with 304 kills this year while King finished ninth in the discus event at the CIF Div. I Sac-Joaquin Section championships last year.
