Big Valley Christian loses volleyball title; will play again
Big Valley Christian’s quest for a Sac-Joaquin Section Division VI volleyball title came to an end against two-time reigning champ Woodland Christian on Saturday at St. Francis High School.
The Cardinals won their seventh blue championship banner since 2003, 25-27, 25-17, 25-17, 25-17.
The season is not over for the Lions however, as both teams will advance to the CIF Northern California regional tournament. Big Valley will open on the road against an opponent to be named. Brackets will be released Sunday.
