Modesto outswims Gregori

The crowd at the Enochs High School pool had quite a splash as Modesto High’s Kate Damrell swam to victory in the 100-yard freestyle in the Panthers’ meet with Gregori on Friday afternoon. Meanwhile, Yunah Kim of Modestol, pink cap, swam to victory in the 100 butterfly and also had a victory in the 100 backstroke. The Modesto boys and girls teams defeated Gregori in the Modesto Metro Conference meet. Today, both schools, along with several other Stanislaus District teams, will compete at Johansen High at the 22nd annual NorCal Relays.
