Unvaccinated fans who want to see the Kings play before their season comes to an end will find the process of getting into Golden 1 Center has become a little bit easier.

Fans ages 2 and over are still required to show proof they are fully vaccinated or produce a negative COVID-19 test, but at-home test results are now being accepted. PCR tests must be performed within two days and Antigen tests must be performed within one day of entry into the arena. Fans are no longer required to wear masks, but it is recommended.

The Kings have only five home games remaining. They will play host to the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, Boston Celtics on Friday and Phoenix Suns on Sunday. They will then set out on a five-game road trip before returning to Sacramento to face the Golden State Warriors on April 3 and New Orleans Pelicans on April 5.

The Kings (25-45) are coming off an impressive 112-103 victory over the Chicago. They are 3 ½ games behind the Pelicans for the final play-in spot in the Western Conference with just 12 games remaining.

The Bucks (43-26) have won seven of their last eight, including a 117-111 victory over the Utah Jazz on Monday. They have moved ahead of the Bulls and Philadelphia 76ers for second in the Eastern Conference, 2 ½ games behind the Miami Heat for the No. 1 seed.

MVP push

Giannis Antetokounmpo is making a late push for his third MVP award, averaging 32.2 points, 12.4 rebounds and 5.8 assists over the past 15 games. He has produced four consecutive 30-point games, including a 39-point performance against the Oklahoma City Thunder and a 43-point game against the Atlanta Hawks.

De’Aaron Fox has been on a similar scoring barrage for Sacramento. Over the past 15 games, Fox is averaging 29.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 6.7 assists while shooting 51.4% from the field and 39.5% from 3-point range. He has scored 30-plus points in four of the past five games, including a career-high-tying 44 points against the Dallas Mavericks on March 5 and 41 points against the Jazz on Saturday.

Injury updates

Kings guard Justin Holiday is expected to return after missing Monday’s game against the Bulls with a non-COVID-19 illness, but Jeremy Lamb is still out due to personal reasons.

Interim Kings coach Alvin Gentry will have a decision to make at the shooting guard spot with Holiday returning. Donte DiVincenzo started in place of Holiday and played well against the Bulls, posting 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
