Central Catholic alum Jared Rice signs with the Los Angeles Chargers

After going undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft, Central Catholic alum and Fresno State tight end Jared Rice signed with the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday.

Rice had 32 receptions for 307 yards and four touchdowns in 2019 and holds the school record for career receiving yards by a tight end (1,365).

Rice won three state titles with the Raiders from 2012-14.

Another Central Catholic alum, Johnny Mundt, went undrafted in 2017 and is currently on the Los Angeles Rams.
