ALL SPORTS AZTECS TRYOUTS All Sports Aztecs 11U travel team will hold open workouts and a team tryout. Open workout Dec. 17 from 9:30-11 a.m., and the team tryout is Jan. 7 from 3-5 p.m. Workouts and tryout will be at All Sport Training Center, 526 Kiernan Ave., Modesto. The Aztecs are seeking 11U players for spring and summer travel ball. All positions open with a minimum of eight tournaments from Elk Grove to Turlock and Brentwood to Stockton. TURLOCK YOUTH LEAGUE The City of Turlock is accepting registrations for the Turlock Youth Basketball League through Dec. 26. League is open to boys and girls in grades K-8. Grades 1-4 will play at Turlock High School, and grades 5-8 will play at Pitman High School. Activity begins Jan. 7 with two weeks of skills and instruction, followed by six games.
