Re “Hillary’s hubby set up dangerous deal” (Letters, Aug. 21): Using Politifact www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/ a search found this article “Donald Trump inaccurately suggests Clinton got paid to approve Russia uranium deal” which lays out the correct facts on the uranium issue. A Google search of “Hillary Clinton paid speeches to banks investing in keystone” leads to www.breitbart.com, which discusses details from the book “Clinton Cash.”
Search for “Clinton Cash” on Politifact and you’ll find the author of the book, Peter Schweizer, said “that while his research uncovered no proof of a quid pro quo between foreign interests and the 2016 Democratic front-runner, the evidence does suggest a troubling trend.” Please cite the source of your facts if you’d like your letter to be taken seriously.
