Jim Hoagland: Menopausal woman better than unhinged, knee-jerk reactionary

Re “Menopause makes Hillary unstable” (Letters, Aug. 9): I don’t think Hillary Clinton is the perfect presidential candidate, but I have this to offer to the writer who suggests “menopausal” Hillary is the wrong person to be in charge of our nuclear weaponry: The alternative to Hillary is Donald Trump, a megalomaniac who asked a foreign policy briefer why, if we have nuclear capability, haven’t we used it. Perhaps this, and his unhinged knee-jerk responses to the slightest provocation, is why the mainstream GOP, including nearly all foreign policy and national security leaders, are publicly rebuking The Donald.
