After writing so many constructively critical letters, I have decided to write a positive one. The main county library in Modesto is one of the most positive influences in the area. Because I am a slower reader, I use the books on CD a lot, but I never run out of a large variety of interesting authors and books. The free use of computers is invaluable.
When I call the reference desk, as I have done so many times, I can only remember once when they didn’t have the answer I sought. The staff goes beyond the call of duty to give great service. So many people, especially children, benefit from this establishment. It’s nice to have the library open on Fridays now, and I wish it was open seven days like it used to be.
