Leonard D. Silva: True Raider fans love the team no matter where it plays

Football, finally we have something the news cannot shame themselves. Reminds me of the good old days when Raider fans would always be the better team no matter how far we had to drive to watch our team play. Those who became cowards and swtiched to the 49ers when Al Davis moved our team to Los Angeles, well they were not Raider fans. Don’t tell anyone but I enjoyed seeing the joy on may parents’ faces when the 49ers won – a vision that is gone except for my memories. I also had fun joking with friends, especially the season-ticket holders who knew how to throw a good party.

So now we have football, which to me is second only to baseball and the Dodgers. As Americans, maybe we can get back to speaking the truth. Are you ready for some football?
