Kent Faulkner: YCCD’s censure of DeMartini was entirely warranted

Re “YCCD trustee’s email results in censure” (Front page, Aug.12): For a trustee of a community college, Anne DeMartini showed remarkably poor judgment in writing an email castigating an employee for supporting an opponent of DeMartini’s husband in a political contest. If she, and the district are lucky, the employee will not sue for harassment and creating a hostile work environment. Censure by the board, at the very least, was warranted. The rest is up to the voters.
