Yvonne Hudson: Worried more about Trump’s followers than The Donald
What happens if Donald Trump loses? Does he concede defeat with grace and ride off into the sunset, going back to his cushy lifestyle?
Conceding defeat with grace? Probably not. Those characteristics are not in his personality. It will be “she cheated,” or “the system is rigged,” and “it’s the media’s fault,” or “voter fraud.”
He will get out of politics, but what about his supporters? We all know it doesn’t take much for deranged individuals with guns to take out their frustrations with violence. We don’t need to worry about “radical Islamisic terrorists,” we need to worry about homegrown terrorists. I’m seeing a new “civil war.” Trump’s rhetoric has inflamed passions of some of his most die-hard supporters. I hope sensible Americans will stand up to hate and say enough!
