Jodi Ann Paradiso: Parents have little say in whether children are promoted in school

We, as parents, do not have a say in our child’s education. Turlock Junior High School vice principal and the counciler promote children to high school as long as they are warm bodies with no consideration for parents’ request to retain. Same for Modesto and Sylvan.
