LaVonne Cunningham: A thrill to see Fair enjoyed by disabled people
I wish to thank all of the carnival workers who opened rides at the Stanislaus County Fair at 9:30 a.m. for handicapped people on July 12. It makes an excellent story to see them so happy and thrilled. That’s front-page news to me. A group called The Advocates is made up of disabled members and are a mainstage group. They would have made an excellent replacement for Chaka Khan.
