Richard C. Ornelas: Deflategate has created a new Seahawks fan
New England Patriots spout innocence. So someone “messed” with their footballs! Both laughable and serious. The coach says no; the quarterback also says no. So, are we left to believe that it was the ball boy’s fault? Really?
We must remember the cover-up is usually worse than the crime. Think of former President Nixon and Watergate. Talk about “dirty tricks.” That cost him everything. What will the cost be for the Patriots football organization?
By the way, I’m now cheering for the Seattle Seahawks. Hopefully, their balls stay “properly” inflated at the legal pounds per square inch.
