Bruce Helmer: Thieves break into car while owners put flowers on a grave
On Fathers Day my wife and I were placing flowers at Acacia Cemetery. We parked our car on the cemetery lane and walked about 50 feet to the gravesite. We were the only ones in that part of the cemetery at the time. While at the gravesite, someone in another car drove up silently and directly next to our car. They broke the driver’s side window and stole my wife’s purse. What kind of scumbag would do such a thing in a cemetery and on Fathers Day? Please beware when visiting the cemetery, thieves have no moral boundaries.
