Erin Flanagan: Riverbank doing its part to help conserve precious resources

The city of Riverbank water conservation program has been very successful in my neighborhood. The water conservation officer has worked daily to put a stop to water wasters. Even with the wet winter we had we need to realize that only 1 percent of the Earth’s water is drinkable. I applaud the city of Riverbank for putting such a great program together and I hope to see it continue. It angers me to see our drinking water running down gutters into the drain. A lot of my neighbors feel the same way. Keep up the great work holding water wasters accountable. I am happy to live in a city that cares about the environment and our natural resources.
