Tim Ragsdale: We need a commander in chief unafraid to identify the enemy
Some middle eastern countries are stuck in the 11th Century. Their culture is the incubator for radical Islam. Radical Islam is using 21st century weapons in an attempt to force modern civilization back to the 11th century. Radical Islam is the enemy.
President Obama refuses to use the term “radical Islam.” Throughout his presidency he has used vague and politically correct terminology to identify our enemies. He sounds like a community organizer trying to avoid offending someone.
We need a commander-in-chief who is not concerned about out enemy’s feelings. Using the phrase “radical Islam” would give us confidence that the commander-in-chief knows who the enemy is. It would point the finger (you decide which one) at the incubator countries. If they are offended, they may come out into the open where we can take a shot.
