Ashlee Bryant: Boys & Girls Club making a real difference for local families
As a full-time working mom, I would like to thank the supporters of the Boys and Girls Club of Stanislaus County and recognize the organization for its “Brain Gain Summer Camp.” This program provides my daughter a safe environment to learn new skills and build self-confidence while becoming joyfully exhausted from days of fun!
I appreciate that each volunteer and staff member of the camp has been trained and fingerprinted. The days are balanced between structure and play so the kids can learn, laugh and be creative while being unplugged and screen-less. My daughter loves to participate in the field trips, water games and craft time. I am so grateful for my daughter’s opportunity to make new friends while building character and living the carefree life every young child should be able to enjoy.
To the people who have donated time and/or money to the Boys and Girls Club of Stanislaus County, thank you! Your contribution is truly making a positive impact in the lives of young people and their families. I hope and pray more people will rally behind and support this organization for the difference it is making in our community.
