Leslie Wilkinson: Registrar’s staff not only did it’s job, but made sure
Kudos to the Stanislaus Registrar of Voters staff, particularly Maria Rocha. I recently changed to an unaffiliated voter. I also requested a ballot for the open Democratic Party primary. Within a week of my mailed-in request I received a phone call from Rocha wanting to confirm I had the voting materials I wanted. She was very nice and helpful. We are lucky to have to have such conciencious people working for us.
