Dave Molesworth: Republicans have chosen a know-nothing con man
The pious Republicans have fallen in line with a New York City con man who won’t show his tax returns because he’s a fraud who won’t pay his fair share in taxes and lies about his charitable contributions, which are probably very little. Every candidate since Richard Nixon has shown them because the American people want to know their president isn’t a crook. But Trump gets a pass. Strange.
Republicans want this pathological liar to have the nuclear launch codes. He’ll probably sell them, or threaten to if he doesn’t get his wall or Muslim ban or whatever.
So congratulations, Rebublicans, you’ve sold your soul to a completely unqualified con artist and you don’t really care about the damage you’ll do to the rest of us.
To be president one must truly love people. After months of Trumpism it’s obvious he doesn’t. Thank goodness the Constitution protects us from people like Trump and his followers who want an armed military force knocking down doors of our citizens.
Republicans: Division, hate, racism, fear of strangers and government.
Their complete disregard of science and reason should make us all want to Dump Trump and the Republicans who are leading us down a slippery slope.
