Daniel Soine: Obama dictating a law that violates common sense
As a concerned Modesto parent, I appeal to you to resist President’s Obama’s insane transgender bathroom law. As you undoubtedly know, Obama is dictating that all school districts comply by using the threat to withhold federal funds. This must be resisted!
Will you have the courage to stand up for common decency and resist this decree?
Does it make sense that a girl must share a bathroom with a boy who decides he feels like a girl today and accidentally, or not so accidentally, exposes his privates to her? Is it ever OK to force little boys and little girls to share a small bathroom where they pull down their pants and go potty? Should our girls be forced to room with boys who decide to identify as girls on their senior Disneyland trip?
If you answer yes to any of these, you disqualify yourself to lead or represent a school board.
What will you do? It’s very simple. It’s a thing America used to call “common decency.” It should be a simple decision: biological boys use boy bathrooms, biological girls use girl bathrooms. And this unconstitutional decree can be flushed down the toilet!
