Bruce R. Frohman: Earthquakes, even political ones, can be very destructive

Donald Trump’s supporters proclaim that when their candidate is elected president, he will create earthquakes that will shake up Washington. Earthquakes do damage. What will Donald destroy?

True conservatives are risk-averse, prefer predictability and the status quo. Trump takes pride in being unpredictable. Just because Donald calls himself a conservative doesn’t make him one. His lack of conservative values has delayed Speaker of House Paul Ryan’s endorsement.

Democrat Hilary Clinton is more conservative than the presumptive Republican nominee! She wants no earthquakes; she would perpetuate current public policy.

True liberals want change merchant Bernie Sanders.

Will violence at Trump campaign rallies subside after he is elected? Or, will Donald’s earthquakes bring down our empire via social turmoil? Disaster brings down the economy if we default on the debt or start a trade war, as Trump advocates.

A true conservative will not vote for Trump, regardless of political party affiliation. Earthquake warning: Voting in anger can be hazardous to your country.
