Nancy Carrasco: What happened to the pride we once had in Modesto?
As I drive around in Modesto I am appalled by the condition of homes. I see weeds 2-feet high in the yards, cars that should be in junkyards, trash in the streets. Where is your pride? I realize we are in drought mode, but please mow your lawns. I’m embarrassed to bring guests around some areas (Carver, Prescott and Rumble roads). I remember a time when everyone had pride in their homes.
