Allan James: Democrats create tyranny but Republicans refuse to oppose it

The Democratic Party leadership is dedicated to destroying America’s values of liberty, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to defend your family, and preservation of private property. You would think the Republican Party leadership would be fighting this assault. No, they fight like the Pillsbury Doughboy, saying “eewheu” as they fall in line with the Democrats like hogs at the trough.

The Democratic and Republican leadership are equally dangerous to liberty-loving citizens. One for its desire to destroy liberty and the other for lacking the guts to protect citizens from oppression. America is being sold at the altar of big government. We who rail about this are ridiculed and called extremists.

What do we want? We want a government that honors the unique idea of a government of three parts conceived to prevent the ascendency of power by one branch over the others. We want a government without corruption. We want elected officials and government employees who respect the law and the citizens they serve. Notice I said “serve;” I did not say rule.

Is it extreme to want justice applied evenly to all individuals? Is it extreme to want elected officials to support liberty and justice for all?
