Susan Reed: Better traffic control needed near Great Valley Academy

How do we, as citizens who live near the Great Valley Academy, get a “Keep Clear” sign painted in the left turn lane onto Higbee Drive? I live a few houses down from Tully Road. When I come home from work or anywhere from Tully heading north, I cannot use my turn lane most of the time to go down my street because it is full of parents trying to get into the school. It is so dangerous! I see near misses and and impatient drivers daily!

Then a back-up comes from kids crossing Tully at Woodrow, there are screeches from impatient drivers. Something has to be done.

A “Keep Clear,” if obeyed, would help us residents. Picking up kids should only be allowed on Woodrow, a less-traveled street. I have to tell parents to move their cars all the time because they want to be close to Tully Road to walk into the school to get their kids. But when you block my driveway, so I can’t get in or out, it is a huge issue. Lets do this safely and without so much havoc.
