JoAnn Found: Modesto steps up to support Soroptomist, kids

Thank you to all who supported Soroptimist International of Modesto’s “Lunch with Mary Poppins.” For members, guests and all involved in contributing to this event, we send out our sincere appreciation!

With over 100 items in our silent auction, and others in our drawing, it was an exciting time. We also heard from two of our past award recipients, which is always inspiring as the proceeds of this fundraiser are the principal source of our annual awards and scholarships. Our entertainment for the event was provided by YES Company. In keeping with our theme, they presented several pieces from “Mary Poppins” and it’s always a delight to see these wonderful young performers!

This year we surpassed our goal and wanted to thank our donors for their contributions. Once again, the Modesto community has stepped up for a good cause! Thanks to all from Soroptimist International of Modesto!
