Jared Mecham: Fusion Charter’s career fair a big success
Fifteen local businesses and organizations provided information about employment opportunities to 130 students at Fusion Charter’s first career fair on April 5. Attendees also heard from three guest speakers on topics ranging from what employers are looking for from job candidates to the type of experience they can include on a first resume.
Thanks for all of the support we had for the career fair. Our students benefit greatly from the ongoing community involvement in their educational process. It is an extremely important part of our program at Fusion. We believe strongly in working with community members to provide education that is mutually beneficial to our students and our community so that we can be a partner and stay involved in everything that goes on in Turlock and the surrounding areas to ensure our students have the best possible chance to succeed and benefit our community.
