Paul Golden: Turlock, Lodi, others put downtown Modesto to shame
Re “Main Street flower pots ready for sunny days” (Page 1B, April 13): Have you been to old town Turlock, Livermore, Pleasanton or Lodi? Then you know why there is no reason to go to downtown Modesto. Maybe a precious few good restaurants. I see in today’s Bee that flower pots are being hung in Turlock. The last time I saw that was in Victoria, British Columbia.
