Jim Bonetti: Denham ignores plague of illegal immigration, loses a vote

I have written Rep. Jeff Denham several times using the U.S. mail, email and his website. I’ve gotten back two form letters that never answered any of my concerns.

But I have received many requests for donations and explanation of how much he’s doing for the country.

Denham does nothing to stop illegal immigration so farmers can hire them and expand their bottom lines. Then we have to subsidize workers since farming is seasonal work. I have asked him numerous times to protect Social Security. I told him he should be screaming at Congress to stop giving away my Social Security to immigrants and stop stealing it to pay its bills! Congress and the president give my Social Security to people who never paid a dime into it. Plus Congress and the president give these people free medical and dental care, food stamps and their kids get free meals at school. They get subsidized housing and a multitude of other benefits citizens are not entitled to.

Social Security and medical insurance are not entitlements. I paid for mine. So, Rep. Denham, don’t say these are entitlements! You’ve gotten too comfortable in Congress; it’s time for you to go. I’m voting for Robert Hodges.
