Art Rossetti: Trumpers should reconsider, or turn nation over to Hillary

When he started this campaign, he was bringing up issues that needed bringing up. Does a nation have a right to change its immigration policy over the centuries? When you’ve transitioned from an agrarian society to a nation based on technology must you keep the same policy you had 200 years earlier? Do you have to obey an archaic translation of the 14th Amendment designed for ex-slaves and apply it to anyone who can illegally cross the border and give birth? Do we have to allow China to poison our people and pets with shoddy goods?

However, Trump started being Trump. His entire message was lost in a sea of spitting contests, junior-high insults, Twitter wars and threatening to sue everyone within 5,000 miles. It became about him. As a result he has become unelectable. The Democrats could run a corrupt, incompetent career criminal like Hillary Clinton and wipe the floor with him.

If you’re a Trumper it’s time to reassess your position. Do you really want to let Hillary pack the Supreme Court with liberals so they can make new law at will for the next 30 years? That is what is at stake. In the California primary vote for someone other than Trump.
