C. Lynne George: These Muir Park visitors are welcome anytime
My family has resided across from Muir Park since the 1970s. This has been a huge blessing, though occasionally a curse. This past Easter Sunday, the park was the venue for several parties, and more crowded than ever. I write to thank and compliment those visitors who participated.
Your cars were respectful of traffic laws. They were quiet, with no “boom boom” of music. Bounce houses were placed so generators did not direct noise, nor fumes, toward homes. Your children were energetic, adorably cute and well behaved. Even your dogs were under control. When you left, at a reasonable hour, the park and surrounding streets and sidewalks were cleaner than when you arrived. Please come back, anytime. Thank you all!
