Mike Gain: President Trump would be quick to impose martial law
Much has been said comparing the political tactics and stadium antics of Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler. The similarities are astounding and alarming. Trump is closely following Hitler’s playbook.
It’s important to seriously consider other strategies Hitler used. In the terrible event that Trump is elected, with the increasing possibility of economic collapse and terrorism at home, it is likely that he will quickly impose martial law so there will be little to no interference with his plans. His executive orders will last for an indeterminate period to curtail freedoms of speech, of the press, to assemble and to bear arms. I expect him to impose a Gestapo presence in all our cities.
Trump has declared several times that his mind is far superior to anyone else’s – that no one is capable of giving him counsel or advice – meaning his plan, and only his plan, will work. His demeanor intimates he will rule with an iron fist. Given his ego and Hitler mentality, I foresee far more than riots if he is elected.
Further, I can only imagine the outcome when Der Trump tells Putin what the rules will be once Dictator Trump is in charge.
