William Cahill: Those willing to work will find wonderful lives
Re “Romance spurs Oakdale teen to earn money for first date” (Page 1A, March 24): With tears in my eyes and a giant hole in my heart, I have just finished reading a truly wonderful story in my morning Bee. This young man is getting a valuable lesson in life. Work for what you want and value the company of nice young ladies. After 63 years of a wonderful marriage, to the love of my life I have been blessed with nine more years of happiness to my second wife. At 90 years of age I can prove that being honest, hardworking, respectful and faithful, Cody is in for a wonderful life.
