Paul Battisti: Round-abouts are dangerous for pedestrians

An Enochs High School student was hit while crossing Roselle Avenue. The city needs to eliminate the round-about at Sylvan and Roselle, it’s nothing but more accidents and injuries waiting to happen. It’s very dangerous, drivers coming from four directions all in a hurry and thinking they’re Mario Andretti even when the intersection is full of children. It’s a very hazardous situation, and needs to be addressed and corrected.

Paul Battisti, Modesto
