Alfa Broderick: Behavior unbecoming of a president
It’s really amazing how the Donald Trump campaign has gotten this big. What started like a joke has grown out of control and will probably make a big impact on our politics.
But who wants a president who insults and ridicules his opponents like a grammar-school boy, and throws temper tantrums like a toddler? Who wants a president who instills this kind of behavior? In the last demonstrations, I even have noticed some people getting physically violent.
Should we entrust the highest job in the nation to a man who’s been married three times, the second to a beauty queen he fell in love with while still married to his first wife, and agreed to marry her on the condition that it would be a temporary marriage (only six years). I guess he was such a great catch she accepted?
Somehow, I don’t think our president should have that kind of mentality (and background), especially when he belongs to a Republican Party that prides itself on moral and religious values. It’s his life, but that kind of behavior is not becoming of the leader of the world’s most important country.
