Howard Joseph Rozelle: You insult me by calling Trump a fascist

Re “We’re watching the rise of a fascist” (Letters, March 10): I once took an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I am still obliged, and more than willing, to honor that oath. I am not a fascist and I support Donald Trump.

This paper had gone about as far as it can go in trashing Trump and the Republican Party, until you printed of the article by Robert Reich. It was far more than outrageous to compare Donald Trump to Hitler and Mussolini. Why not compare Barack Obama to Neville Chamberlain; Bernie Sanders to Karl Marx, or Hillary Clinton to Benedict Arnold?

Trump represents me and those of us who love this country; we are proud of it and its history. We are tired of the erosion of our freedoms, the loss of influence around the world and being pushed around by thug nations.
