Jim Sterling: Promote Stockton airport as regional option
Re “Modesto hires consultant for passenger flights” (Page 1B, March 3):
Why not get behind an effort to promote a much larger “regional” airport just 30 minutes up the road in Stockton that actually is capable of having major carriers fly east, rather than trying to encourage folks to fly west (to SFO) before they must turn around again to fly east?
