Jack Heinsius: Party of Impeding now wants to govern?
From his first day as leader of the American people, Barack Obama has faced a Republican Party that vowed to oppose him at every turn – and even to create turns if they weren’t there. The result has been to delay an economic recovery, to impede foreign policy initiatives and to make government more costly and less efficient.
This turns out to be the fault of the President and his party. They should have rolled over and played dead instead of fighting for the American people. The Republicans have been so successful in marketing this snake oil that we now have their election effort being led by the Prince of Anti-Government who is going to make everything beautiful and all right. Just don’t ask how.
