Doreen Ott: Another neighborhood with an illegal auto repair shop
Re “Close neighborhood auto ‘shop’” (Letters, Jan. 11): I am in support of this letter writer regarding the frustration over having auto repair shops in residential areas. Our neighborhood has had to deal with this problem for at least the past five years. We have the same issues the writer detailed with tow trucks coming and going and parked cars that do not move for long periods of time.
This illegal business was shut down for awhile due to a complaint from of one of the neighbors. It was back up and running again when this auto mechanic knew he could work on car repairs inside his garage without any legal ramifications.
Why do these auto repair shop individuals working in residential areas have no respect for their neighbors?
