Albert Clark: Schrimp was a legend in the legal field

Re “Attorney, Boy Scout leader Schrimp dies at 74” (Page 3A, Feb. 12) and obituary (Page 5B, Feb. 19): I was saddened to read about the death of Roger Schrimp. The obituary and article in The Bee did not really do him justice. I am a semi-retired attorney and dealt with Roger on many occasions over his 50 years of practice. I can honestly say that he was one of the best civil litigators I ever had the pleasure of working for and against. Every colleague I have spoken with recently feels the same way. It was a pleasure to watch him in “action” even if I was on the other side. Not very many attorneys can live up to his knowledge and masterful skills in the court room.
