Dave Shoemaker: French gun laws leave citizens defenseless
Pray for the ordinary French citizen, because they are neither rich or powerful enough to hire armed guards to protect themselves. Their police can’t guard them because they can’t be everywhere. And now, for the second time in their history, their gun laws have made them “sitting ducks.”
The first time this happened was during WWII. Their gun laws made it easy for the Nazis to gather up their arms, leaving the citizens helpless against Nazi savagery. During the war the English and Americans smuggled arms to their underground so they could oppose their German oppressors.
Now it is happening again! Their anti-gun laws have left them defenseless. Law-abiding French citizens are unable to defend themselves against the terrorists because they do not have the protection of our Second Amendment. These savages can come into offices and markets, murdering at will, and the people couldn’t defend themselves because they can’t bear arms. Thank God for the wisdom of our constitutional fathers who gave us the power to defend ourselves.
