Fred Aspesi: Restore the American Dream or live as communists
When World War II ended we were a proud nation, welcoming our troops home with loving and open arms. Nations all over the world respected us; they feared us because were not a divided nation. Look at us now. Countries don’t fear us, let alone respect us. Our president goes around the globe apologizing for having too much wealth, too much power. The American people worked too hard to capture the American Dream to just give it away to people who haven’t worked and do not deserve it.
We have lost our morals, our prayers in schools and our flag has been burned. Most of all, we have lost God and Jesus Christ.
When election time comes, our politicians lie, lie and lie some more. President Obama lied to us about Obamacare, about “Fast and Furious,” about the Iran treaty, about Benghazi, about the terrorist attacks and many more things.
Our nation was founded on capitalism, now it’s socialism, next communism. What a picture it will make: same colored clothes, same colored houses, driving the same small cars. Everyone gets the same wages, unless you rank high in the party. There will be no more American Dream. It’s coming soon.
