Nan Rasmussen: Rules don’t mean much to Snoop Dogg
Re: “Snoop Dogg shares the party in Modesto” (www.modbee.com, Feb. 5) and “Snoop Dogg brings the party to downtown (Page 7A, Feb. 6): Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t it against the law to smoke in public places such as malls, bars and restaurants? Snoop Doggy is allowed to smoke on stage because he has a medical marijuana card. Have we just opened the door for everyone who has a card to smoke in any public place? Or is it only that this celebrity doesn’t have to follow the rules? Shame on Fat Cat and the promoter to allowed this to happen.
