Bruce T. Byers: Hard to see the need through cigarette smoke
Regarding the homeless, it is hard to feel sorry for them when you see one on the corner with his or her sign asking for help, yet at the same time they are smoking a cigarette. Which, by the way, costs $5 a pack. Most smokers are pack-a-day users. Is this where they money you give goes?
